Ateneo Sta. Ines is unconvinced I do my own laundry. A domestic art not everyone can dig. Fact is it’s the only chore closely associated with photography: both banks on the glistening sun.
The man must be a stranger to the housework as he is alien to the Arrocerros Forest Park — that pocket of woodland right at the heart of Manila. How could this spot be unknown to a Manileño? More so to a stop-at-nothing street photographer?
Sunday I toured him inside the Forest. For once I led a leader. The day before, he was our shepherd at the 2016 Fujifilm Philippines Global Photowalk. And — drumroll — we photowalked from Plaza Miranda all the way to yet another photography victory. That scoop will have to wait.
