What I like about street photography is that, in a certain way, it is very much like Suiseki — the art of looking at stones poetically. Something not everyone can comprehend.
Hunting for that beautiful stone takes time and must not be done in a hurried way. One must seek gently as it is a chance encounter.
I am reminded of that one shop’s humorous name as I leave Rinconada District for Manila. “The Lord of the Rinconada.”
