TRAUMANILA

Today marks my tenth year of living here in Manila. Malate in particular. The western end, the area by the bay. I know the place like the back of my hand now. And, as a small tribute, I won’t be going into its bad lights today.

Even though the city best speaks of that ‘run like hell by the Filipinos’ crap.

So today I’m left with nothing but potatoes.

Er..photos.

  1. i love how you put your photos into perspective.
Even without words, they speak for itself.
you made me miss capturing Manila and head out the streets again. ^-^

  2. Very sweet images of manila. Great stuff 😀 I may end up going back to P.I next year for a visit. I cannot wait 😀

  3. Wow! A lot has happened since I visited in 1995…lol! I especially like the “skyline” and Riverside drive photos. I’m going to post a link to this page at my FB page. I’m sure my Manila friends will want to see “today” photos.

Are the ASEAN gardens on the “bay” side of Roxas. I liked it better when that side was totally green and open.
