I drove in the hellish rain for a couple of hours from CamSur to Albay just to have us a firsthand look at this softly opened promenaders’ wharf right in the eastern waterfront of Legazpi City – the Embarcadero de Legazpi. A docking place-turned-commercial/recreational complex (another case of Invasion of the Malls).
The tropical depression was meant to ruin the whole trip, but somehow El Sol beamed on us as soon as we reached the place. The letdown was, Mayon Volcano would’ve been a perfect backdrop for Embarcadero if not for the overcasts. At least I got a 1/8 of the mountain and a little more time for some snapshots.
