Filipino ace photographer/artist Revoli Cortez unfurled this huge mosaic before hundreds of spectators last weekend at the Quirino Grandstand in Manila with the hope of making it to the Guinness Book of World Records as the largest photo patchwork. Dubbed “Tita Cory Sa Luneta,” the photo mosaic of the late President Cory Aquino, made up of thousands of images from her august life, was crafted in commemoration of her first death anniversary.

The display will be on for a week. However, considering the number of feet recklessly crushing the tarpaulin expanse daily, I presume the piece would be badly worn before the seventh day.
